Website//Review
This is
only up for my amusement as it is 8 years old. Man this site has
changed...read on if you are bored! :D
Here's the review that I
received at Crystal
Moon Reviews. They were an excellent and
fair review site. This site does not exist anymore, but I'm very
grateful for the review they provided me. They have provided me with
great feedback and ways to improve so this site can be better for my
visitors. Below is my review!
Title: Green Dreams

First Impression: 4/5
The layout is cute and easy on the eyes. There is a lot of white though
beneath the green stripe that doesn't seem to go too well with me, but it
still looks nice and simple.
Layout: 9/10
See above. It's pretty simple but it maintains it's appeal.
Content: 19/20
I'm not too fond of the link hover. You might want to change it to something
that compliments the layout more. I love how you have your picture
incorporated into your information. For some reason you don't see a whole
lot of that anymore. The borders around them make them look nice and
professional too. Great job! You have a way of making the visitor feel
welcome and it's neat! It's like you're actually talking (typing?) to the
person without actually doing it. It's a little hard to put into words but
basically you make the visitor feel welcome which encourages them to
continue through your site. Many people have a Name Analysis section but few
take the time to debate whether the name is actually true to the character.
I also like how you give credit on the page instead of making a credits page
that will almost never get visited, except by reviewers like me or by
someone looking specifically to see if credit was given.
You even give a Bio on her Seiyuu. And
that's just in the information section.
The adoptions aren't the most original thing, but they're still cute. The
avatars are a nice touch too. Lot's of places have love pairings but it's
always interesting to see them. Quizzes are always fun, the only thing I
have a problem with is that they use the javascript pop ups and boy are
those loud x.x; It's smart that you have the quizzes resized so they don't
sidescroll your page, plus they look more organized. It's a very good thing
you have thumbnails. Very very good. You don't have a lot of images but they
all look nice and not all tacky looking.
They wallpapers are very nice too. But
you should say which resolution they are set for, most 800*600 wallpapers
will fit a 1024*768 resolution and vice versa, but I'm not sure about higher
or lower resolutions. You have a credits page as well as giving credit on
the page you use things. That's a very good sign that you don't steal stuff.
You don't have a whole lot of links for content but you do have a lot. I
really really like this site.
Errors: 9/10
I took off a point because you sometimes overuse exclamation points, but
it's not too serious since the overall impression of your site is pretty
laid back. It's a fun site so little things like that can slide, if it was a
more serious or professional site then I would be more concerned.
Originality: 28/30
To me your site was very original. It's presentation, the content, the
layout, everything. There were only a few things that weren't original, but
still good.
Loading Time: 5/5
The loading time was very fast, which was surprising since you had image
galleries and a big layout and lots of content.
Navigation: 9/10
The navigation is very straightforward. However, I didn't know the 'back'
button lead back to the main page. You might want to clear that up.
Effort: 10/10
I can tell you put a whole lot of effort into this site.
Overall: 93/100 >> A
Keep up the fantastic work!

My Comments:
I'm overjoyed about
the nice critique she gave to my site. I never realized that I used
exclamation marks so much. Heh, it's just a strange thing I do.
I will fix the wallpapers soon. That was a great suggestion.
Oh and thank you for pointing out for the back button. I'll fix those
too!
Anyway I'm so
glad that I got such a nice review! Thanks for your input and I will
fix all those errors
