Episode 8:
Is the genius girl a youma? The scary brain-washing cram school.
Ok, it's the first episode Ami appears in! We learn that she's very smart(a genius actually) and shy. I really love this episode, because Ami says she has never played video games before at the arcade, but of course she gets a high score. Surprising everyone, including Usagi! Anyway Usagi and Luna think Ami is a youma, but they made a bad mistake, and Luna realizes she's actually Sailor Mercury! Thus Mercury comes onto the scene and uses Shabon Spray for the first time, blinding the youma.
Sailor Moon finishes it off and she and Sailor Mercury become fast friends. My favorite part of the episode? I love it when the youma is quizing Usagi. "Question 1, the genius Newton's question. Why did the apple fall from the tree?" Sailor Moon's reply? "Don't ask me, ask the apple!" LOL! Of course tons of sharp exam papers come after her, and Luna has to yell "Earth's Gravity" in order to have those tests disappear. ^^

R Episode 62:
The friendship of the senshi! Good-bye Ami-chan
This is such a sad episode! Everyone heard that Ami wanted to study abroad in Germany, and Usagi was terribly upset about it. They concluded that they would throw her a surprise farewell party. Meanwhile Chibiusa thinks Ami is more responsible than Usagi and thinks she may have the ginzuishou. So after waiting until Ami got of cram school, Chibiusa spent the evening with Ami trying to get better study habits.
I think this is a cute scene because Chibiusa is surprised at Ami for being so perceptive. Ami didn't really leave Chibiusa a chance to search for the ginzuishou(I know as if it's in her room...) Anyway, later in the episode, Ami tells Usagi that she doesn't want a party, nor does she want everyone to see her off, because it would be harder for her to leave. Usagi is upset about this but understands.
The episode goes on to have Artemis and Luna frozen in a ice cream shop and the senshi(minus Ami) are having trouble fighting it because they can't stand the cold. Ami is at the airport and recieves a gift from Chibiusa and then one from Usagi. She realizes that they might be in trouble and asks Mamoru. He confirms this, and drives her there were the senshi are.
Thus she transforms(using the pen she recieve as a gift) and uses her new attack "Shine aqua illusion!" I love this attack!! I love this episode, because it shows how much everyone needs Ami! Plus my favorite song, Onaji Namida wo Wakeatte plays in the background!

R Episode 71:
For friendship! Ami and Beruche crash.
Ok, this is the only episode I've seen that features Ami in a heated chess match. ^^ I mean how many animes have this in them? Anyway Ami fights against Beruche in a game of chess. But the table turns when Beruche is cheating and sends the senshi up in the air in an ice ball. Ami(who is Mercury by now) has two choices, to continue playing or to give up and Beruche will set her free. Of course Mercury doesn't want to leave her friends! She continues, and gets more and more frozen as Beruche continues to win. Beruche tells her, "Don't try to endure it. It's stupid to give your life for others." Sailor Mercury replies back, "They aren't others. They are my friends. They are important people that I have to protect, no matter what happens." Isn't Mercury cool!! This is why I like this episode.
Anyway Beruche's sisters appear, wanting to take the glory of her victory. Kinda mean aren't they? About this time Tuxedo Mask appears and frees Mercury and the others and now Beruche is surrounded. DoesPetz and Karaberas help her? No, they ditch her. She's really upset and tells Mercury "See, even real sisters are like this. It's no use to fight for the sake of others." Everyone looks at her sadly and she gets upset at them for pitying her. She decides to freeze everyone yelling, "You're all going to die with me. People are alone when they are born or when they die. There's no such thing as love.."
But then Cooan(she was there btw...) starts running towards her, but gets wacked in the face with a huge ice chunk that Beruche sent her. The Sailor Senshi went to help Cooan, and when she got up, Cooan said to Beruche, "The reason why you're sad is because you're looking for love. Please feel your own love!" Beruche suddenly gets it and requests to become human, and Sailor Moon heals her. Nice episode ne? But Ami playing chess was the best part!

R Rpisode 80:
The Scary Illusion! Solitary Ami
Ah, the famous Esmeraude's in the bath episode. Actually I didn't really care for that. ^^ Anyway this is such a sad episode! Everyone accuses Ami of cheating her exams!! Cruel! Ok, they are possessed by Dark Power, but Ami doesn't know that. Of course Usagi, Mako and Naru are very mad at their fellow classmates for making such accusations. Mako even heh, beats some of them up. Ami tells them she isn't upset and leaves them. Of course she is. She sneaks into an alley and cries, but remembers that Usagi and the others believe in her.
Ami then spots a poster about a new cram school and realizes that all the kids that were accusing her goes there. Hmmm, a plot perhaps? Ami goes to investigate to find the school is empty. She turns into Mercury and challenged anyone who is there. She gets it. A droid that can duplicate itself attacks her. It overestimates her though and gets another idea. It decides it can use Sailor Mercury to defeat the other senshi. Usagi heard Ami yell and she and the others go to the school transformed. They find Mercury and she tells them that the place is full of dark power. Suddenly the youma attacks her mentally, making her think her friends are taunting and teasing her about not being pretty or cheating.

Mercury thinks they aren't her friends and attacks them!! She even
knocks Sailor Moon down! But Sailor Moon tells her that she
believes that Ami won't hurt them. She was right of course!
Mercury uses Shine Aqua Illusion on the droid and Moon destroys it!
Yay! Ami apologizes to everyone, and of course they understand.
Later at school everyone that accused Ami of cheated apologizes to her.
It's a real sad episode but it has a happy ending!

S Episode 97:
The labyrinth of water! They are after Ami!
The principle is sadistic in this episode! I can't believe he said that to Ami! What did he say? That she shouldn't help out bad students and focus more on her own studies. Grrrr... Anyway Usagi overhears this and feels bad, but gets dragged away by Naru. Ami feels pretty down, thinking that all there is studying. She later goes to the park where Mamoru finds her! He's so cool here! He cheers Ami up by saying, "But it's a pity. If there was a doctor as cute as you, I was thinking that I wouldn't mind having shots." Ami couldn't believe that he hates shots and found that amusing. She thanks him thanks and runs off telling him that she is going swimming. Mamoru mutters to himself as she goes "You're very brilliant the way you are now." Awwww... Anyway Kaolinite targets her, thinking she would have a pure heart.
The episode goes on where Ami meets Haraku and Michiru. Michiru challenges her to a race saying "Were you something from the ocean in your previous life too?" Weird sentence. Anyway Ami ties and Michiru knows that Ami didn't give it her all. When she asked Ami about it, Ami apologized and runs off. This makes Michiru feel a little bad. Now Ami is really depressed and goes to her study session with everyone. When she gets there, Usagi tells everyone not to depend so much on Ami and they should study for themselves. Ami staring at her, is shocked. Along with everyone else! Usagi continues and says Ami has to study really hard to become a doctor and smiles at her. Ami tells her she forgot something and leaves. Usagi notices that there were tears in her eyes and runs after her.
Ami goes to a bridge and feels upset thinking that Usagi feels that even she should just study. Haraku comes by on her motorcylce and picks her up taking her to the pool. Again Ami and Michiru swim again, and they tie. But this time Ami gave it her all. Michiru was happy and told her that it's great to give it your all. Her and Haruka leave and Ami gets attacked by a daimon. Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask come and save her and Ami tells Moon that's she is ok. Tuxedo Mask asks her if she is feeling better and Ami replies, "Yes, I found out that it's important to try my best. I won't escape any more." Of course Moon gets a little jealous of them being so close and reminds Ami that Tuxedo Mask is hers. Ami laughs and says he's hers. They dance around him, and laugh. Heh, cute scene. I really like the relationship Ami and Mamoru have! It's sooo cute!

S Episode 122:
Believe in Love! Ami, the Kind-Hearted Soldier.
Ah another good Ami episode. Well it did have it's very sad moments with Chibiusa waiting outside of Hotaru's house in the snow. ^^ Anyway in this episode Ami got high marks on her latest cram exam. Everyone is happy for her, and she continues to tell them that the next test is at Infinity High. This gives them a good opportunity to go and investigate. When they are at the school they meet Vido Yui, another genius girl. She wants to talk to Ami alone. But before she does she spots Usagi and asks her what her best subjects are. Usagi says afternoon nap and lunch. LOL! Of course Vido Yui thinks she's just kidding and drags Ami away. In a dark room, Yui shows Ami the mini-universe that the science club made(cough, cough). Yui tells her that Infinity High is a place where the talented go, and Ami would be perfect for it. Ami (thinking of Usagi) says that just because someone is smart, it doesn't make them a good leader. A good leader is someone who can understand the hearts of those that are poor in academics. Yui tells her that in science, there is no need for understanding, just logic. Just then, the bell rings that starts the exams and Yui leaves.
Thus
the exams start. Ami decides to investigate the school. So
do the other girls. They see all the students have their pure
hearts taken out by the computer! They transform. Meanwhile
Ami has reached the basement and sees Hotaru on the Messiah chair.
Haruka and Michiru appear behind her and tell her to move. They
want to kill Hotaru. Ami opposes, but then Yui appears chuckling.
She says that she knew Ami was a Sailor Senshi and then she transforms
into Viluy and attacks her with her Nanos. These are mean little
buggers! Anyway Viluy ends up killing herself, and no she didn't
want to and Hotaru disappears. Outside of the school, Haruka and
Michiru stare down Ami. They say Ami's kindness allowed the
Messiah of Silence escape. But her kindness also saved their lives, this
time, they'll thank her. Yep, Ami is just a truly kind person!

Supers Episode 144:
Sparkling Summer Days! Ami, the Girl of the Sea Breeze.
Hee hee..Shingo has a crush on Ami! It's really cute how he acts soooo nice to her! Although Ami and Usagi don't get it. Rei and Chibiusa do though, heh...Anyway the Trio receive orders from Zirconia to go after Ami. Hawkseye comments that she isn't really cute. (so mean!) Tigerseye says that it won't be hard for him to get this he and he says that he swears on the pride of the Amazon Trio. (Oh boy..) So he goes to the beach that everyone is at. He ends up knocking over Shingo, claiming it was an accident(sure it was) and as his apology he wants to invite them all to his private beach. The rest of the girls give him starry eyes but Ami kindly refuses saying it was just an accident. She leaves and the others follow her. Leaving a very mad Tigerseye.
Later Shingo and Ami are in a raft talking about how Ami wants to become a doctor. Tigerseye isn't too far behind them in the water, and starts to laugh, but then after swalling the water he coughs. But he still tries to go after Ami, making Shingo mad. And when Shingo is mad he has a sharp tongue. Well Tigerseye pushes him in the water and Ami goes after Shingo. Tigerseye is surprised by this. Anyway Ami gets Shingo and swims on a small cave where she performs CPR on Shingo.
Tigerseye appears and asks her why she is doing that and she says that Shingo is a good friend and she wants to save him. Shingo awakens and Tigerseye is confused. Tigerseye concludes that it doesn't friendship doesn't matter once he finds Peagus and goes after Ami. Of course she doesn't have the dream mirror and he leaves, with a monster in the cave. The senshi appear and they destroy the monster and everything is back to normal again. And at the end, Shingo sits with Ami to watch the fireworks! Kaawwwwaiii!
