Appearance: As Melinda
she has short black hair that reaches just below her chin. Most times you
can't even tell if she has ears or not. Her hair is also golden blonde at
the ends of both her bangs and at the ends of the rest of her hair. She
prefers to keep her hair short, so it doesn't get in her face when she is
working and get her employees to work around in her store. Melinda also has
pale ice blue eyes that usually show a happy expression (towards customers
only) or a angry stare.
For build, Melinda is 5'10", and weighs 130 pounds. She often goes to
her gym and does aerobics and Pilates to keep her figure nice and trim. For
clothing, Melinda wears anything that is in style. She is very extravagant
and loves to match, down to accessories.
Costume:
When Melinda uses her staff, she is transformed into another person, one
whom calls herself Porcelain. As Porcelain she has long sky blue hair that
reaches her lower back which is pulled back into a braid. Her eyes are a
deep maroon color that typically form a blank dead pan stare. Her skin
becomes pale white which accents her dark maroon sleeveless dress. The dress
goes from her neck (like a turtleneck sweater) and goes down to her knees,
which it fares out slightly. Porcelain has a sky blue sash that goes around
her waist, to her back that forms a small bow. Her footwear she is wearing
knee high dark maroon boots with a slight heel. The upper part of the boot
that covers her knees has puffy sky blue lace. As for accessories Porcelain
wears a silver bracelet on her right hand that has tiny dark maroon stars.
Her staff, which she carries is sky blue with a dark maroon star on top of
if. The staff itself 5 ft and when held it reaches the floor and goes up to
Porcelain's shoulders.
Personality: Melinda
doesn't like people. She thinks they are beneath her, but she works well
with them, because she realizes that she can get what she wants from them,
and ultimately make more money so she can buy more clothes. Melinda feels
that she is most lovely person alive. Besides having atrocious angry
outbursts when something crosses her, Melinda is very pleasant to be around.
Her friendship is only skin deep though, and because of this Melinda doesn't
many friends.
As Porcelain, she becomes very calculating and focused on either getting
money or destroying her competitors. She is very brash and often gets mad
over very small things. This is because of the staff she carries which
absorbs her anger and uses it for it's power.
Main Power: A star shaped
staff that manipulates Porcelain. The staff is the source of her ability to
shoot short but high energy blasts at her opponent.
Minor Power: None.
Physical Combat Abilities:
Porcelain has no combat abilities unless she is holding her staff. The star
shaped staff gives her knowledge in gymnastics and the art of Kendo.
Strengths: Being focused
on whatever goal she has in mind. She rarely gets distracted and gets the to
the point of obsessive. Melinda also has great schmoozing abilities, when
she can usually get a great deal on anything if she wants it.
Weaknesses: Extremely
vain and very obsessive over her looks and fashion. She often scares people
when they don't wear the proper fashion and don't look what she thinks they
should. Melinda has a severe anger problem and as Porcelain this anger feeds
her staff. When anything is out of place (hair, face, clothes) on her she
will often freeze for a few minutes and then go completely insane.
Background:
Melinda grew up in a small French town with her parents living in their
craft shop. Melinda being an only child was spoiled often and told by
everyone how lovely she was. As growing up, Melinda had a dream like
childhood being in all the parades as a 'princess' of one thing or as she
got older being the 'queen' of another thing.
Craving more and more attention and a new change, Melinda quickly got bored
of her huldrom and popular life in her small town and divulged herself
reading about life in the big cities. One city she loved was Paris. She
loved their fashion particularly. After high school, Melinda went there to
try out for a modeling agency, only to get rejected numerous times because
of her not so sparkling personality. Each defeat made her angrier so she
finally went decided to go into business and make her own fashion store.
Getting money from her family and their full support she went through a
community college and got a degree in Business. Eventually, after working a
year in a small business Melinda got fed up with the field and decided to
buy her own store. She realize that she need funds and didn't know how to
achieve it. Going to her hometown she decided to ask some of the people
there for money thinking that everyone loved her there. She found out that
most people didn't remember her after her being gone for eight years.
Depressed, lonely and angry she went home to recollect her thoughts. While
home, Melinda found a strange trunk in her parents store. Compelled to open
it, Melinda found a lovely blue staff with a maroon star on it. Grasping it
Melinda transformed into Porcelain and knew how to get the money she wanted.
Turning back into Melinda, she went back to Paris and with the aid of the
staff she started robbing stores and finally got enough money to make her
store. The staff that is possessing her, sent her to Tokyo Japan after
a while, once it noticed a great power resonating their. Expanding her
business, Melinda made a huge business venture into a strange country.
